Rain Prayer Update 15 Nov 2007

As I predicted, it rained the day after the Pharisee show that was Governor Purdue’s prayer meeting (just as the meteorologists forecasted days in advance). So it was deemed a success. But God did seem to come up a lot short – the rain provided about 1% of the amount needed to end the drought in Georgia.

(As a side note, I live in an area that has extreme drought. We didn’t have a public prayer service, and we got twice the amount of rain that Georgia did.)

i thought about that too…and i thought it was funny that here in alabama the gov. tried the same thing earlier this summer to no avail…it’s even funnier when u think about the recent clash between the states for the little water there is…guess the folks in ga are more faithful than alabamaians
